3M™ Detail Polish 208 is preferred by professionals. 3M™ Detail Polish 208 is a medium cutting polish.
To minimize the possibility of staining, do not apply 3M™ Detail Polish 208 in direct sunlight or onto a hot surface. Directions for Use: Polish using an electric buffer (1000 to 2500 RPM) equipped with a 3M™ Superbuff™ Polishing Pad or a 3M™ Perfect-It™ Foam Compounding Pad.1. Shake container before using. 2. Apply enough polish to the paint surface to work a 2 ft x 2 ft area. To minimize slinging, spread the polish over the surface with the polishing pad before starting the machine. To minimize the possibility of staining, do not apply in direct sunlight or onto a hot surface. 3. Start the machine and buff using light-to-medium pressure. 4. Reduce pressure as polish begins to dry, and buff to a high gloss. Clean pad as necessary to assist cleanup.
