3M™ Window-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane, 08609, Black, 10.5 fl oz Cartridge for Glass Replacement - Ships same day.
 3M™ Window-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane is a one part moisture curing urethane adhesive that bonds auto body replacement glass - windshields, backglass and sideglass to the vehicle's metal pinchweld.
Highly suggested that the installer use a 3M Primer, such as, 3M™ Single Step Primer #08681(125 ml) or 08682 Single Step Primer (30 ml) when using 3M™ Window-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane. 3M™ Single Step Primer for windshields promotes adhesion of 3M™ Window-Weld™ Super Fast Urethane adhesive to the windshield glass. In addition, the primer will stop ultra-violet rays from penetrating the urethane adhesive if your glass does not have a black frit present. 3M™ Single Step Primer can also be used to touch up scratches on the metal pinchweld and to prime encapsulated glass. No activator needed.
If using the short-cut method of windshield replacement DO NOT prime the old urethane left on the pinchweld. Old urethane adhesive to new urethane adhesive will provide the strongest bond.
For ease of use the 3M Professional Caulking Applicator 08993 works best if using a large number of 08609 cartridges. Otherwise, the 08992 Caulking Applicator will suffice.
